restaurant anywhere. It simply works. Servers are friendly and casual,
but at the same time, they take care of business. Water glasses are always
full. Orders arent forgotten. Diners arent hurried. The feel
you get as a customer is one of laid-back efficiency. And that fits the
style of food being served. Its not the all-too-typical foo-foo
food at foolish prices. Far from it. Barbs expertise is innovative
down-home cooking. Comfort food with a twist.

this Regional American on the main road to Midway; expect several comfy,
flower-and-photograph-filled rooms and a moderately priced menu that includes
intensely seasoned fish and poultry dishes as well as neighborhood-pleasing
basics like mac 'n' cheese.
